Born in Sarnia, I started playing drums at an early age. My first influences include; Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and ACDC. I was taking lessons from Scott Douglas, who had done the music program at Humber College. He started turning me on to jazz, Steve Gadd, and basically opened my ears up--Thanks Scott!

       After high school, I started studying at Humber College in Toronto, it was a great experience, a top notch faculty. Many of the people I play with today are friends I met there.

    I took a cruise ship gig immediately upon graduating--saw some great places (circumnavigated South America)--cool!!, and put my reading chops to work.

  I've since toured Canada several times, The UK, Sweden, Germany and The Middle East.

    Among playing and recording with a wide range of bands in the Toronto area, I have the honour and pleasure of performing with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee-Rik Emmett--great musician, and a wonderful band.
